C'est ainsi que naquit Les Survivants, publié deux ans après l'accident, et qui connut dans le monde entier un tirage fabuleux. Aujourd'hui, un grand film retrace l'épopée de ce groupe de jeunes gens, qui, liés par l'amour du rugby, ont survécu aux horreurs de la famine et du froid, en se nourrissant de la chair de leurs morts, avant que deux d'entre eux puissent ouvrir la route de leur délivrance.
